Midday on changes in the consumer price index

Midday looks at the controversy over adjusting the consumer price index and the economic, political and personal finance implications of these changes. Minnesota Public Radio's Chris Farrell is in the studio to speak some plain English on the subject.  Other guests are Professor Dale Jorgenson of Harvard University, who was a member of the Commission which concluded that the CPI overstates inflation, and Judith Brown, financial advisor who has a long affiliation with the AARP.  Listeners call in with questions.
